the Hamster Page

Here's a collection of hamstery resources to be found on the Internet.

Why this page, you ask? Well, why the heck not? Hamsters are honest, fun-loving and trustworthy rodents that are deserving of more respect! And they're certainly deserving of their own Useless Web Page. Here it is.

About the Page

This is intended to be a definitive hamster-related Web page, though admittedly it did start off as a complete joke. Some things just end up taking on a life of their own. Unfortunately, we no longer really have the time to keep it up to date, so we aren't accepting new links anymore. And many links listed here are probably not up to date. Sorry.

Note that this is a hamster-only page. Call us hamster bigots, but no mice, rats, gerbils, guinea pigs, capybaras, gophers or marmots are involved. And certainly not rabbits, pikas, weasels or ferrets, which aren't even rodents!

The page will also never contain any information on the mean things that people supposedly do to unconsenting hamsters. (aside from the mean things that people do to hamsters ostensibly in the name of science) Nothing but good clean hamster-friendly fun around here!

We're listed on the Vancouver CommunityNet!

This page dedicated to Carys H. Rhotange, 1994-1996. Her picture graces the top of this page. Hamsters don't live for very long, do they?

Other Opinions
For some reason, although the Web reviewing companies have kindly taken the time to review our site, they don't seem to think that we're the spiffiest page ever to grace the Internet. In fact, they've given us positively mediocre reviews. So we're either a middling site in the top 5% of the Web or a two-star site, depending on your point of view. Oh, well. Hamsters have modest aspirations. Overweening hubris is not part of the Hamster Way.
