What I think of their products
All of the Shire Scenes models are exquisitely detailed photo-etched brass sheets. The fact that everything is made from sheet does pose certain limitations - you can’t make domes or curved automobile parts using brass sheet - but the detail is incredible. The etchings are works of art!

Shire Scenes sell small detail items such as various types of station benches, telephone boxes (telephone booths in North Americanese), trolleys and barrows, etc. All unbelievably detailed. And somewhat expensive.

In addition, Mrs Francis sells handpainted detail items - white metal items from the usual sources. (Langley and P & D Marsh) Convenient if you don’t want to bring out the magnifiers and paint them yourself, I suppose.
